It marks the time when wild strawberries ripen and are ready to be harvested. For these communities, the lunar cycle was not just celestial—it was agricultural. This moon signified a period of abundance, sweetness, and community sharing. In Europe, it's sometimes called the Rose Moon, symbolizing the blooming of roses and the rosy tint the moon can have during this time. Strawberry Moon Ritual: “Sweet Truths & Sacred Expansion”This ritual honors sweetness, truth, and a release of burdens. You can do it outdoors under the moonlight or indoors near a window, using candles and fresh strawberries. Materials:
🌕 Step-by-Step Ritual1. Cleanse the Space Light your sage or incense and sweep the smoke around your body and the space. As you do, say: “I cleanse this space of all that is not mine. I call in clarity, sweetness, and truth.” 2. Ground and Center Sit comfortably. Close your eyes and take deep breaths. Imagine roots growing from your body into the Earth. Feel your spine align like a bowstring pointing to the stars. 3. Set Your Intention Speak aloud or journal: “What truth am I ready to acknowledge?”“What old belief am I ready to release?”“Where is sweetness asking to return to my life?” 4. Candle & Water Invocation Light the candle and place the water before it, saying: “With this flame, I illuminate my shadows. With this water, I cleanse what no longer serves.” Gaze into the water and breathe in your clarity. 5. Write & Release On a piece of paper, write one belief, fear, or idea you are ready to release. Read it aloud. Then burn it safely (or tear it into pieces and submerge it in water) while saying: “I release this with love and gratitude. I am ready to expand.” 6. Sweet Blessing Eat a strawberry (or sip your tea), mindfully tasting its sweetness. Reflect: “May I remember the sweetness of life. May I open to joy, truth, and wild growth.” Close with GratitudeThank the moon, the Earth, and any guides or spirits you feel close to. Blow out the candle. You can leave the water overnight under the moon to create “moon water” for blessing future intentions. Optional Add-On: Affirmations Under the MoonSay these under the moonlight:
