I Don’t Need Scholarship Funds If:

• I comfortably meet all my basic needs (housing, food, healthcare, etc.).

• I may have some debt, but it does not interfere with meeting my basic needs.

• I own my home/property or rent a higher-end property.

• I own or lease a car and can afford gas/maintenance.

• I am employed or have the financial stability not to work.

• I have regular access to financial savings.

• I have an expendable income for new items, annual vacations, or leisure expenses.

I May Need Some Scholarship Support If:

• I stress about meeting my basic needs but can still achieve them most of the time.

• I may have some debt, but it does not interfere significantly with my needs.

• I own or lease a car and can mostly afford to use and maintain it.

• I am employed and have access to healthcare.

• I might have financial savings or expendable income but with limits.

• I can purchase some new items and thrift others as needed.

• I can take vacations occasionally without significant financial strain.

I Need Scholarship Support Because:

• I frequently stress about meeting my basic needs and don’t always achieve them.

• I have debt that sometimes prohibits meeting basic needs.

• I rent lower-end properties or have unstable housing.

• I do not own a car and have limited access to one, or I cannot afford gas/maintenance.

• I am unemployed or underemployed.

• I qualify for government assistance (food stamps, Medicaid, etc.).

• I have no financial savings or expendable income.

• I rarely buy new items because I cannot afford them.

• I cannot afford vacations or time off without financial hardship.
