Ceremonial Cannabis Journey

A Guided Experience for Healing, Insight & Connection

What is a Ceremonial Cannabis Journey?

A Ceremonial Cannabis Journey is an intentional, guided experience that invites you to work with cannabis as a sacred plant ally for inner exploration, healing, and expanded awareness.

Rather than using cannabis habitually or recreationally, we approach it with reverence, intention, and presence.

Within a safe and supported container, cannabis can help you:

  • Access deeper layers of your inner world

  • Connect with your body, emotions, and inner parts

  • Open to insight, clarity, and self-compassion

  • Experience expanded states of awareness while remaining grounded and in control

Unlike other psychedelic medicines, cannabis allows you to stay resourced and aware, making it a powerful tool for both beginners and experienced journeyers.

This work is not about escaping — it’s about coming home to yourself.

The Flow of a Ceremony

Each journey is designed to create safety, depth, and meaningful integration.

1. Arrival & Intention Setting

We begin by grounding together, connecting as a group, and clarifying your personal intention for the journey.

You’ll be invited to reflect on:

  • What is ready to be seen or healed

  • What you’re seeking clarity or support around

  • What you’re open to receiving

2. Ceremonial Cannabis Ritual (Optional)

Cannabis is always optional.

If you choose to partake, you’ll be guided through a ceremonial approach to cannabis use — bringing intention, awareness, and respect to the plant.

We emphasize:

  • Conscious dosing

  • Listening to your body

  • Building relationship with the medicine

3. Guided Somatic & Inner Journey

Through music, breath, and gentle guidance, you’ll be led into a deeply inward experience.

This may include:

  • Body awareness and somatic release

  • Connection with inner parts (IFS-informed exploration)

  • Emotional processing and insight

  • Expanded or symbolic experiences

You are always in choice. You can go as deep as feels right for you.

4. Integration & Reflection

We close the journey with grounding and optional sharing.

This is where meaning begins to land.

You’ll be supported in:

  • Making sense of your experience

  • Identifying key insights

  • Connecting to next steps for integration

What You May Experience

Ceremonial cannabis is a shape-shifter — each journey is unique.

It tends to amplify what is already present, bringing it into awareness so it can be processed and integrated.

Physical & Somatic Awareness

  • Heightened sensitivity in the body

  • Energy movement or release

  • Trembling, shaking, or spontaneous movement

  • A sense of openness or relaxation

Emotional Release & Healing

  • Access to stored emotions (grief, fear, joy, love)

  • Emotional waves that rise and resolve

  • Greater compassion toward yourself

  • Healing of younger or wounded parts

Mental Clarity & Insight

  • Awareness of thought patterns or beliefs

  • New perspectives on challenges or relationships

  • Increased creativity and problem-solving

Spiritual Connection

  • A sense of connection to something greater

  • Inner guidance or “higher self” awareness

  • Moments of awe, stillness, or unity

Common Experiences Include:

  • Enhanced sensory perception (music, color, touch)

  • Inner imagery or symbolic journeys

  • Connection with inner parts or past experiences

  • Insights about life direction or relationships

  • Deep presence and acceptance

How to Prepare

Preparation is essential for a meaningful experience.

In the Days Before:

  • Avoid alcohol and recreational cannabis (ideally 3–7 days)

  • Get good rest

  • Begin tuning into your intention

The Day Of:

  • Eat lightly beforehand

  • Dress in comfortable, layered clothing

  • Create a private, safe space where you can fully relax and express

Set Up Your Space:

  • A comfortable place to lie down

  • Pillow and blankets

  • Eye mask (recommended)

  • Water nearby

  • Headphones for immersive sound

  • Journal for after the session

Cannabis Preparation (If Participating)

  • Use organic flower if possible

  • Vaporizing or smoking is preferred for adjustability

  • Start with a low dose and go slow

  • You may take more during the journey if needed

Suggested blend:

  • ⅓ sativa, ⅓ indica, ⅓ hybrid

  • Moderate to high THC (20–30%) with low CBD

Always listen to your body and your intuition.

⚠️ Important Considerations

This work is powerful and not appropriate for everyone.

Please do not participate with cannabis if you have:

  • A history of psychosis, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia

  • Active suicidal ideation

  • Serious cardiovascular or neurological conditions

  • Pregnancy or recent major medical events

If unsure, consult with a medical professional and reach out for guidance.

 The Power of the Container

While you can work with cannabis on your own, a guided ceremonial space offers:

  • Safety and support

  • Skilled facilitation

  • Deeper access to your inner world

  • A sense of shared humanity and connection

Even in silence, there is something profoundly healing about journeying together.

A Note on This Work

This is not therapy, but it is deeply therapeutic.

It pairs beautifully with:

  • Coaching

  • Integration work

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Other healing modalities

Cannabis, when used ceremonially, becomes a mirror — helping you see yourself more clearly, with compassion and truth.

Final Invitation

Come with curiosity.
Come with openness.
Come as you are.

This is a space to:

  • Feel

  • Explore

  • Release

  • Remember

And ultimately…
to reconnect with the most authentic version of yourself.
